“Carpe diem” is a Latin saying that has become the name of the new collection of watches by Marvin. “Catch the moment. Enjoy the moment. Be happy at the moment” – this is the philosophy of the new M114 collection of watches that combined modern design with rich historic heritage: 160 years of watchmaking traditions.
The Marvin watch is easily recognizable owing to the traditional red index at 8 o’clock and an original crown with 22 teeth and engraved crown.
The new Marvin watch is housed by a classical square case crafted from polished and matt steel. The dial of the watch features original eye-catching composition: an aperture in antique style and an arch-shaped seconds indicator which resembles the track of the control panel of a racing car.
Usage of both Arabic and Roman numerals accentuates the link between the 19th and 20th centuries reflected by the design of the watch. As the decoration of the dial the new Marvin М114 Collection employs ultra-fashionable carbon. The dial is protected with sapphire crystal. Water resistance is 50 meters.
The main peculiarity of the new Marvin timepiece is the seconds indicator. Making a full turn the coloured seconds hand indicated in turns at the outer and inner parts of the dial (the first – inner one – is marked with indices from 0 to 30; the second - from 30 to 60). The watch is powered by a Swiss automatic movement Sellita SW200. An aperture at the dial opens to the view part of the movement with 26 jewels. Power reserve is 38 hours.
The new Marvin watch is secured at the wrist with a genuine leather strap equipped with engraved buckle.
